New Orleans will be spooking it out this Halloween (No Surprise!)
The city of New Orleans never misses an opportunity to celebrate and have a good time. This Halloween there are many festivities happening in the big easy that will make your Halloween one to remember!
The Krewe of Boo kicks off on the 24th October (the Saturday before Halloween each year). Visitors will find an amazing Halloween parade with enormous paper mâché and fiberglass floats that mimic all of Halloween’s spooky creatures and much more, and those from the floats throw the crowds all sorts of goodies.
Audubon Zoo has four big scary nights each year that are perfect for families. This year Boo at the Zoo will happen on the 16th & 17th and the 23rd & 24th October. Visitors will find entertainment, food, trick-or-treating, fairly scary stories, fun rides, a haunted house, and more. Of course there will also be an opportunity to meet the zoo’s animals.
Visitors will not want to miss Voodoo Fest in New Orleans, a brilliant music festival that has a cutting edge Halloween style. This year the Halloween music festival takes places 30th October – 1st November with announced headliners that include Florence + the Machine, the Zac Brown Band, Ozzy Osbourne backed by Geezer Butler and more.
