New North Carolina Attractions
Each year many British and Irish tourists travel to North Carolina and enjoy the Blue Ridge, the Great Smoky Mountains, Lexington BBQ tour, Outer Banks National Scenic Byway, Biltmore and much more.
This summer tourists going to North Carolina can venture to three new attractions;
At the Greensboro Science Centre's Animal Discovery Zoo visitors will find a new tree top adventure park, the SKYWILD. The new park offers visitors ten years and over seven courses and sixty animal inspired challenges for all intensities, from the Lilypad Leap to parallel-log walking and more.
The Carowinds theme park in Charlotte has opened the world's largest giga coaster and non-launched rollercoaster, the Fury 325, "325" referring to the rollercoaster's maximum height. Visitors can enjoy three and half minutes of exhilarating fun, travelling speeds of up to ninety-five mph as well as the variety of other rides at the theme park for all ages and intensity preferences.
Blowing Rock introduces an aerial park, the High Gravity Adventure, a classic Wild West themed park. There are seventy-five elements including tight-rope walks, aerial bridges, floating foot loops, giant spider webs, etc., for adventurers who are eight years and older. Also the kid's course welcomes children as young as five years with rides, shows, trains and more, so there is something for everyone.
