NCIS New Orleans on UK Screens in time for Mardi Gras
Fans of the long running NCIS series will be excited that the spin off drama NCIS New Orleans is premiering on Channel 5 at 9pm this Friday, 13th February 2015. To celebrate the success of the series in the USA, the cast of the show will be amongst the stars appearing during the city’s Mardi Gras celebrations, as they ride with the Orpheus Krewe’s famous Lundi Gras parade on Monday 16th February.
The cast includes Scott Bakula, Lucas Black and Zoe McLellan and much of the drama has been filmed in and around New Orleans. Filming sites that viewers will recognise and can visit in the city include the French Quarter, the National World War II Museum and several well-known restaurants. The show has witnessed strong viewing figures in the USA. According to NOLA.COM*, CBS recently announced that "NCIS: New Orleans," renewed for a second season in January, is the most-watched freshman drama in 10 years. Averaging 18.6 million viewers an episode (an average that counts digitally delayed views), it's drawing more viewers than any first-year drama since ABC's "Desperate Housewives," which premiered in 2004. *Source:
